Lidhka Inga

I am a fully qualified Massage Therapist, Pilates and Yoga Instructor with 15 years of practice.

I specialise in Sports, Holistic, Swedish, Pregnancy, Hawaiian and Chavutti Thirummal massage, Mat Pilates and Hatha Yoga.

At the moment I am studying Osteopathy at University College of Osteopathy in London, graduating in 2020.

In the past I was also a part time tutor providing massage workshops for individual clients, colleges (City Lit, Goldsmiths ) and companies (LCP Dance Theatre).

The core of my professional activity is a belief that knowledge of anatomy, physiology and different therapeutic techniques is of crucial importance in the treatment process, but it cannot guaranty success itself.
It must be accompanied by high level care, respect and communication.

In many ways we are all similar but also quite different, therefore each therapeutic session must always be designed individually and tuned to the physical, mental and emotional condition of each person.

I have known Lidhka for 6 years, since May 2008. First as a client, when I visited her for massages when I was undergoing physiotherapy whilst recuperating from an ACL revision, and subsequently as a fellow massage therapist (it was Lidhka's encouragement and support that I undertook my own massage trainings). She is a considerate and compassionate therapist who communicates well with her clients: I was one of her case studies when she was studying ITEC Sports Massage.

Lidhka has sought to maintain her professional skills with CPD, undertaking the aforementioned Sports Massage course as well as training to be a Personal trainer and Pilates instructor. I have seen how these additional skills have enhanced her massage skills as she has applied her subsequently deeper knowledge and understanding of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics and dynamics to her bodywork.

As part of her ongoing development Lidhka taught lomilomi massage at the CityLit college of further education, and undertook a Lifelong Learning course (PTLLS) that gave her additional skills in order to allow her to teach others and transmit concepts and ideas effectively.

In addition to her bodywork skills Lidhka is also a very trustworthy and committed person.

Lidhka has been my therapist for the last 8 years. She is a professional and efficient in her treatment. Her approach is very holistic when dealing with different tensions within the body. Her knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology ensures that you know you are in good hands. I work as a Sports Massage Therapist, so I need massage treatments regular. Lidhka is kind and caring and never fails to deliver.
